ADOC SUSTAINABILITY REPORT 2024 COMMUNITY RELATIONS

While our operations contribute significantly to the national economy, we recognize that they may also have socio-
economic, cultural, health, and human rights impacts - particularly on proximate communities. At ADOC, we are
committed to mitigating these impacts through respectful engagement, transparent communication, and sustainable
community investments. This approach underscores our commitment to sustainable and responsible business practices,
balancing economic growth with social equity and environmental stewardship.
A key indicator of our positive local impact is that approximately 35% of ADOC’s workforce is comprised of locally
employed talent. In addition, our commitment to local economic development is reflected in our procurement practices,
with 96% of our suppliers sourced locally. This balanced and inclusive approach strengthens our social license to operate
and reinforces our role as a responsible corporate citizen.

               CULTURAL OUTREACH INITIATIVES AT ADOC

In February 2024, as part of ADOC’s ongoing community relations and cultural outreach initiatives, staff and
their immediate families were invited to experience the traditional Japanese art of calligraphy, Shodo, during
a cultural session organized by Applied Technology School (ATS) Japanese teachers. This event aimed to foster
cross-cultural appreciation and strengthen ties with local educational institutions and the Japanese cultural
                   community in Abu Dhabi.
By opening the session to both ADOC employees and students, the initiative promoted intergenerational
learning, cultural exchange, and inclusive community engagement - reinforcing ADOC’s commitment to building
respectful and meaningful relationships with the community.

Given the remote location of our operations, ADOC operations have limited direct interactions with the local community.
Over the past 30 years, ADOC has not experienced any conflicts or reported incidents involving encroaching fishermen
or recreational vessels. In the rare event of encroachment, the National Guard Command (previously known as Critical
Infrastructure and Coastal Protection Authority (CICPA)) is responsible for monitoring and rerouting maritime traffic to
               ensure safety and operational integrity.
