PROCESS SAFETY AND ASSET INTEGRITY

At ADOC, process safety and asset integrity are core pillars of our operational sustainability strategy. Our Asset Integrity
and Process Safety (AIPS) practices, are aligned with ADNOC Standards, provides a structured approach to ensuring the
integrity of hazardous operations through safe design, engineering, and maintenance practices. The system enhances our ADOC SUSTAINABILITY REPORT 2024
process safety management by improving understanding, oversight, and learning.
Since 2023, ADOC has established KPIs related to process safety management as part of our Corporate KPIs. During
2024, ADOC recorded one Tier 1 process safety events (PSE) and two Tier 3 PSE.

Process Safety Event (PSE): An unplanned or uncontrolled release of any material including non-toxic and
non-inflammable materials from a process, or an undesired event or condition that, under slightly different
circumstances, could have resulted in a release of a material.

               • Tier 1 PSE is a loss of Primary Containment (LOPC) with the greatest consequence.
               • Tier 2 PSE is an LOPC with lesser consequence.

               • Tier 3 PSE is a so-called "near miss" not leading to actual consequence or is not classified as Tier 1 or Tier 2.

There were zero unplanned plant trips, safe operating excursions and safety instrumented system (SIS) activations –
demonstrating strong operational stability. Additionally, we achieved 100% compliance across critical safety protocols,
including emergency response drills, Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR), downgraded situations (DGS) and Management
of Technical Change procedures, reflecting our proactive approach to risk management and process safety assurance.

            EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS AND RESPONSE

We have a Corporate Emergency Response Plan (ERP) in place that provides us guidance on how to respond effectively
during an emergency, with the primary goal of minimizing losses and ensuring safety of all. In addition, as the ADOC’
s operating areas partly fall within an MPA, we have Oil Spill Response Plan (OSRP). This includes a separate plan
for Mubarraz Island, ARST and HST and another one for CFP and Mubarraz Field. The OSRP establishes the roles,
responsibilities and procedures required to implement an immediate response to any oil spill that occurs.

Emergency preparedness is regularly practised as demonstrated by more than 40 drills and exercises conducted across
various sites during 2024, on a broad range of situations such as fire due to gas leak, ship collision response, helicopter
crash landing, confined space rescue and heat stress. This proactive approach ensures that our emergency preparedness
remains robust and aligned with the best practices.

            HSE TRAINING AND AWARENESS

As of December 2024, 95% of Abu Dhabi office and site staff have undergone HSE mandatory training courses i.e. HSE

induction, H 2 S and breathing apparatus, Helicopter underwater escape training (HUET) and sea survival (SS). Other
trainings included Rigging and Slinging (refresher and new), mobile crane operator, forklift operator, advance fire fighting,
and basic first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
In addition, a total of 6 campaigns and 25 awareness sessions were conducted during 2024 on various topics including
crucial ones such as SOC, near miss and incident reporting, safe lifting operation, ergonomics and digital eyestrain,
ADNOC life saving rules, slip trip and fall, HSECES Management and hazardous waste handling/ repacking, to name a few.
