In 2023, we completed updating our HSEMS in line with the ADNOC HSE Standards. The HSEMS Update Project was
started in 2021 with an aim to align our procedures with ADNOC standards, contributing towards the enhancement
of our overall safety performance. Through internal HSEMS audits and corrective action plans, we are ensuring that our
operations are in compliance with the new standards. During 2024, ADOC initiated developing a comprehensive HSE
Risk Register incorporating all the legislations relevant to HSE.
As part of our continuous practice of safety interventions, we continue to focus on: HSE Leadership site visits with an
agenda of reviewing site HSE performance, site walkthrough, and discussions with site personnel on HSE issues and
initiatives.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY
Our occupational health and safety strategy is structured around three main pillars, which are also aligned with our
environmental management strategy.
1. Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations
2. Promoting the HSE culture through training and awareness
3. Managing HSSE aspects systematically via ADOC’s HSEMS
HSEMS maturity could be seen through various aspects such as HSE statistics, active participation of employees in SOC
and near-miss reporting, and active leadership engagement in HSEMS.
