SHIFT IN MATERIAL TOPICS

This year’s materiality matrix builds on the foundation established in previous assessments, while integrating the latest
stakeholder insights and shifting business priorities to ensure continued relevance and strategic alignment. In comparison ADOC SUSTAINABILITY REPORT 2024
to the previous year, this year few topics were renamed and slightly regrouped to reflect broader and more strategic
interpretations. This involved consolidating similar topics, separating distinct issues and incorporating emerging trends.
In addition, the 2024 materiality assessment resulted in notable shifts in topic prioritization.

                • Human Rights and Labour Practices, Risk Management and Controls, and Emergency Preparedness and Response
were elevated from medium/ low to high priority this year, reflecting increased awareness on ethical workforce
practices, strong governance and operational readiness.
                • In contrast, Biodiversity conservation topic has moved down in relative priority compared to 2023, reflecting a
shift in focus towards more immediate concerns like safety, emissions, and emergency preparedness. However,
biodiversity continues to be managed through compliance and environmental stewardship.

                • Topics such as Occupational Health & Safety, Process Safety & Asset Integrity, and Reducing Air & GHG Emissions
maintained their positions as critical areas of focus.
                • Cybersecurity and Data Privacy, while remaining in the lower priority quadrant, have been explicitly retained to
reflect rising digital risk concerns across the oil and gas sector.

                • Topics such as Economic Contribution and Community Relations have remained low in importance to both
ADOC and stakeholders, similar to previous year.

Our annual materiality assessment process underpins ADOC’s commitment to maintaining an agile and proactive
response to emerging sustainability risks, evolving stakeholder expectations, and internal strategic priorities.
