Abu Dhabi Oil Co., Ltd. (Japan) (ADOC) is pleased to launch our 14 Annual Sustainability Report providing an overview ADOC SUSTAINABILITY REPORT 2024
of our sustainability-related ambitions, targets and metrics as well as our progress to date. ADOC publishes sustainability
reports every year to provide our stakeholders with a transparent account of how we approach and manage the most
material sustainability issues our company faced during 2024 and our forward plan.

Reporting period: This report captures data based on a detailed list of sustainability topics for the period January 1 to

December 31 , 2024.

Reporting boundary: All sustainability metrics in this report align with the operational control method of reporting,
covering our operations in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Reporting standards and frameworks: This report has been prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative
(GRI) 2021 Revised Universal Standards and the GRI 2021 Oil and Gas Sector Specific Standards. You can access our
GRI Content Index for an overview of the reported information.

In this years’ report, we have considered the 2020 International Petroleum Industry Environmental Conservation
Association (IPIECA) Sustainability Reporting Guidance for the oil and gas industry. Additionally, we remain committed to
supporting global sustainability initiatives, and included in this report are our contributions towards achieving the United
Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).

Our disclosures cover issues that are most material to our business and its stakeholders, with these areas clearly identified
through a transparent materiality assessment process.

Data collection and assurance: Collating and reporting sustainability data requires collaboration across the various
departments within ADOC. All data has been subject to internal validation and data reviews. Furthermore, as ADOC is
an affiliate company of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), the collated Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
data is submitted to ADNOC on an annual basis. Going forward, we are committed to seek external assurance for our
subsequent reports.
